I’m not sure how I feel about wearing yellow shoes with a green dress. I’m not as positively struck by the contrast of green and yellow when it’s the dress that’s green and the shoes yellow as when it’s the shoes that are green and the dress yellow.
I guess the key with wearing yellow shoes with a green dress is matching the right shade of yellow with the right shade of green. The same is probably true for yellow dress green shoes combinations. You probably wouldn’t wear neon green shoes with a dress in an equally glaring shade of yellow.
Yellow shoes with a green dress can work but it doesn’t seem like it’s as easy to find the perfect blend between the two colors when the shoes are going to be yellow as when the shoes are going to be green.
I think yellow shoes are more difficult to wear well generally.
