I wouldn’t mind owning this Oscar de la Renta black white polka dot beaded Silk-Faille Peplum Top. The Oscar de la Renta website describes this top as a “statement-maker on and off the runway”. It is a polka-dot peplum blouse that was handcrafted in their New York studio “using pearlized white glass bugle beads on black silk faille”. They say it takes 110 hours to embroider each piece. I guess that justifies the $2990 price tag?
Unfortunately the $2″ 990 price tag means I’d have to win the lottery before I could afford to buy it; and that pretty much means I will never own this top.
But just because I will never be in the position of needing to figure out what to wear with my Oscar de la Renta black white polka dot beaded Silk-Faille Peplum Top doesn’t mean I can’t have a little fun imagining what I would wear if I did own this top and had somewhere to go that called for wearing a $2,990 blouse.
