It’s been a while since I’ve written a post. I’ve been busy working hard on my album and I will be releasing the first single from the album very soon. I bought myself this Betsy and Adam red lace gown to do some promo videos for the release.
The dress is quite lovely I think. I got it on sale for just under $70. The original price tag is listed at $278. It’s an open back gown that features all-over lace fabrication, a rounded neckline, 3/4 sleeves.
Yes, I know I’m trying too hard to look cute and it aint workin’…
Life has been pretty good lately. The process of creating songs really fulfills me to the point where I have been experiencing moments of great joy every day, and without needing to do anything other than just doing what makes me happy. And I’m very excited and can’t wait to release my first single. I don’t have any expectations that anything grand is going to result. I’m not chasing stars. This is just a passion project. It’s about fulfilling my goals and dreams for myself, and experiencing the joy that comes from knowing that I accomplished what I set out to achieve. And I have a long way to go. Don’t get me wrong, this is a tough journey I’m on. It’s stressful, it’s expensive and it’s scary. But at the same time it’s fun and fulfilling in a way that nothing else has ever been for me.
About the Betsy and Adam red lace gown…
It’s a floor length gown that I purchased online at Dillards.com (link is an affiliate link). It has a fitted silhouette with a flared hem. As can see there’s a lot of extra fabric. I think the excess fabric is due to my height. I’m pretty short. I think the dress is intended to be worn by taller ladies. On me it drags on the floor.
Thanks so much for reading! Wishing you happiness and joy.
