As fall/winter coats and jackets go, you’re usually going to find more neutral colors in the average girl’s closet. The average girl apparently has about 5 coats/jackets in her closet (not counting such things as blazers and other suit jackets, denim jackets and other lightweight jackets not used for the purpose of warding off the cold.)

Because the average girl expects to wear her fall/winter coats and jackets multiple times, she usually gets jackets and coats that will go well with as many other colors as possible. For that reason orange is probably not the first color choice for fall and winter jackets and coats. But if a girl can afford it she should definitely add a few brightly colored jackets and coats to her fall/winter coats/jackets collection; and orange is the perfect color choice for a bright coat especially for fall.

Nerea Guindo López who blogs via corazonmaniqui.com wears an orange coat from SheInside with skinny jeans and ankle boots. Although this look is from November 2013 the style still works today. Nerea shares the details of her look along with more photos in her post “TENDENCIA: ABRIGO NARANJA“. Note that Nerea’s blog is written in Spanish.

This look borrows from Nerea’s style. You probably can’t see any similarities but it started with Nerea’s look in mind. Wide leg pants and skinny jeans are complete opposite styles that’s true; but both looks feature the long orange coat and black leather ankle boots. The borrowed look features a Bottega Veneta Single Breasted Coat, a black Dolce Gabbana Cropped sweater, a pair of black Givenchy High Waisted Wide Leg Trousers, a SIMONE ROCHA Long patent leather clutch and black patent leather Gianvito Rossi Stilo Booties.
