Purchased a pair of red faux leather boots from Fashion Nova last month (Exotica thigh high boots) but could not figure out how to style them. I had purchased them to wear with a red faux leather romper (Fashion Nova In Control Faux Leather Romper) but I didn’t like how the boots looked with the romper. The shades of red clashed a bit too much for my preference. So the boots have just been sitting around collecting dust until I finally found use for them on Friday night.

Felt in the mood to play at modeling on Friday night so I put together a look with the red boots. I had to do a bit of thinking about how to style bright red faux leather thigh high boots. I’m not claiming my idea will get the nod of approval from any respected fashion editors, but in my opinion, a red and black combination works. In this case, I paired a black faux leather (latex) mini skirt that I purchased from Fashion Nova (Carlibell Faux Leather Skirt – Black) with a black tank style cropped faux leather (latex) top I purchased from Amazon. I combined the top and bottom with a cut-out halter neck top (also from Fashion Nova), and fishnet stockings. I found that it was necessary to add another red item in order to balance the look, so I accessorized with the red satin gloves from my “It’s All Up To Me” album cover artwork.
That’s all for this post. The holidays are around the corner. I hope to do another post before then, but in case I don’t manage it, happy holidays to anyone who happens to be reading this. I wish you peace and joy and everything your heart desires.
Thank you so much for reading.
