Hi, i’m a pair of Dolce Gabbana sneakers. And guess what? I love myself. I mean, hello–look at me. I’m too gorgeous for words! My muli-color skin, my leather accents, my shape–all so deliciously beautiful.

Is it okay for me to love myself? Because I love myself so much I wish I had feet so that I could wear myself. Even if I wasn’t a pair of Dolce Gabbana sneakers I would be exquisitely fine. I would still buy me for $10 even though I don’t care for cheaply priced things. I’m just so pretty it’s ridiculous. Am I being narcissistic? Not that I care if you think I am. I think everyone should be narcissistic. If you can love other people like some people love and adore and worship celebrities, then you should be able to love yourself in the way celebrities are loved without people calling you a name that’s meant to suggest you’re doing something bad in loving yourself.

I know what you’re thinking. I’m a pair of sneakers talking like I’m a person or something. Like I have a mind. Like I have thoughts and feelings. Well, I’m not a person, but why should that mean that I don’t have a mind or thoughts or feelings? How can you be so sure that elements of the living things from which I am made do not remain in me and give me the capacity to think and feel? I know, because you think a plant cannot think and feel. And whatever animal skin is part of the leather of which I am composed, that animal, while it was able to feel it was not able to think. But you don’t know any of that to be true. You don’t know that just because I’m a pair of sneakers I cannot think and I cannot feel.

Anyway, I am not here to argue with you. I’m here to talk you into bringing me into your life. I want to get close to you. I want to go places with you and do things with you. I want to make you prettier, more stylish and more chic. I want to make you the envy of all your friends who don’t have a pair of Dolce Gabbana sneakers in their closet. Well, actually, to be honest with you, I don’t like making people envious. I prefer to inspire people. So let me take that back and say I want to make you an inspiration to all your friends.
