Wearing magenta pink satin top with green faux leather pants

It’s officially summer 2022. Here’s to a memorable summer. For anyone for whom this will be a summer spent grieving or otherwise suffering, let us strive remain aware of the suffering of others while still being grateful for every new day and for the opportunity to create joyful memories.

I hope all is well with you. I’m doing decently okay myself. The day is off to a pleasant start. It’s sunny. I’m making headway with a song that I’m trying to write. I’m feeling good and I’m grateful because life is challenging overall (for everybody). It’s good to have moments when you feel okay. And I think it’s important to acknowledge it.

So, in my previous post I demonstrated a look with a green satin top and pink faux leather pants worn with green ankle boots.

In this post post, the color scheme is the same (pink + green), but I am switching to a magenta pink top with green faux leather pants and a pair of patent pink faux leather ankle boots.

Like I said in the previous post, nature pairs green and pink all the time so I don’t see any reason not to pair green with pink especially in the summer time.

This is a cute shirt, but don’t wear it in 90 degree weather. It was very hot yesterday when I attempted to capture footage and photos for this illustration post. I began to feel like I would start sweating visibly under my arms. I had to cut short the outdoors session. Had I not abandoned filming outdoors, I would definitely have started showing sweat under my arms. The material is not actually satin but 100% polyester with a satin look, and polyester is not typically a recommended material for hot weather.

These are not the best fitting pants ever, but they’re reasonably comfortable, even in 90 degree weather. They did not induce sweating as leather can sometimes do when worn in hot weather. These pants were NOT very flattering to my derriere.

These are not very comfortable boots. They are difficult to walk in and the material of which they are made is quite hard. They are very shiny and definitely will not enable you to blend in with the crowd if you wear them. You will surely be noticed for your patent hot pink faux leather footwear. The gold accents make them even more noticeable, so they definitely would not be the most ideal choice if blending in is your preference. Or if you fear people’s opinion. These are definitely boots that style conformists might place in the “don’t wear” category. Personally I think they’re fun. I just wish they were also comfortable.
