I think I finally get it. There’s a new trend with animal print where people are mixing animal print with other prints and because it’s a trend it doesn’t matter if the animal print really goes with the print it gets mixed with or not. It’s an anything goes kind of mentality. Just throw on some animal print flats like Nicole Richie did with the Jean Paul Gaultier print turtleneck maxi dress she wore to the Nordstrom Gala the other night (reference link); or throw in an animal print clutch the way Sienna Miller did with the Dolce & Gabbana Sicilia Floral Print Dress she was seen wearing during London Fashion Week (reference link),.
Or do as Hilary Duff has done and throw on some animal print Mulberry pumps with your Parker Abbey green plaid tye silk straight-leg pants that you wear with your black cami top and black blazer” your Celine purse and Gucci sunglasses.
