The stated mission of the company Puritan’s Pride is Healthy Choices for Healthy Living.
In 2013 the company launched a line of beauty essentials under the label “Perfectly Pure“.
The Perfectly Pure beauty products are said to be created with wholesome ingredients and to provide “affordable, head-to-toe luxury” that customers will love.
Items include body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, retinol cream, other creams, oils and skin butter.
The products are made from nature-based ingredients that are popular in the natural beauty world.
The company states that their products contain no parabens or SLS, and no artificial colors. And there was no animal testing. Therefore no cruelty to animals was involved in the production of Perfectly Pure beauty products.
The line includes products made from argan oil, coconut oil, hyaluronic acid serum, tea tree oil and shea butter.
Become a Perfectly Pure Beauty
Make-up does wonders to conceal the imperfections of skin. And for those of us with hopeless hair there are plenty of options available. Some of the most famous women in the world who are celebrated for their beauty use extensions to thicken and lengthen their hair. Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson to name a few. Others are known to wear wigs.
Certainly there is no reason to shy away from using artificial means to enhance your appearance in areas where you perceive yourself to have a shortcoming in the beauty department. However, nothing beats being a perfectly pure natural beauty.
That is to say, many women who wear make-up or hair extensions/wigs, would prefer to be able to limit, or even eliminate, the use of artificial products. They would prefer if their skin and hair were close enough to their naturally perfect state that the artificial enhancements would not be necessary.
The beauty industry thrives because we are ever in search of the products that would help us to achieve that goal of having healthy beautiful skin and hair.
First it’s important that we make clear we do not believe our skin and hair define as women (or men for that matter). Not having clear beautiful skin and strong healthy hair, does not make you less worthy than someone with skin and hair that meet the standard definition of beautiful and healthy. We encourage you to love and celebrate yourself regardless of the condition of your skin and hair.
But loving and celebrating yourself as you are doesn’t mean you don’t still take care of yourself and do what is in your power and control to make sure that you can look and feel your best through all the stages of your life.
What makes us who we are lies within; but the things that make the crucial first impression lie on the outside.
Those of us who are less than perfect according to society’s definition of perfection would be happy to live in a world where a person’s exterior aspect does not control how people view them and how life treats them. But whether we like it or not, we live in a world where a person’s appearance can propel them to the heights of success or hold them back and prevent them from getting what they want out of life.
So accept yourself and love yourself the way you are, but still recognize that it’s always in your best interest to put your best face forward.
Taking care of your skin and your hair is not about vanity. It’s about loving and nurturing yourself. It’s about taking care of yourself.
And Puritan’s Pride says that their Perfectly Pure Beauty products are designed to help you do just that.

Some things you will not be able to control. There are no oils, ointments, lotions, potions in the world that will make you look 15 when you’re 35. But beauty is not about looking 20 years younger than you are. Beauty is about being strong and healthy and happy. It’s about nourishing your soul. It’s about loving yourself and taking care of yourself from the outside in and the inside out. And you do have the power to control that.
Is Puritan’s Prides Perfectly Pure the haircare and skincare brand for you?
Finding the right products to help you achieve your beauty goals is a matter of trial and error. Not everything you try is going to work. Some things you never think to try may be the things that work. You just never really know until you try a product if it’s going to work for you or not.
We can’t say yes or no to the question of whether or not Puritan’s Prides Perfectly Pure haircare and skincare products will work for you.
We recently had a chance to try their Coconut Body Lotion and we’re preparing to give some of their other products a try. We’d like to invite you to join the trial. So we’re working on putting together a few Perfectly Pure Giveaway boxes that we will give away to the first of our readers to submit a 1 minute video answering to #thebeautychallenge. In the video you must:
1. Recite the following:
My name is (say your name) and I am beautiful. I accept the My Fashion Wants beauty challenge to stop measuring myself against a standard of beauty that tells me I should hate the way I look and celebrate the way someone else looks.
2. Tell us what beauty means to you.
3. At the end of the video you must pass the challenge to at least one of your friends.
In the meantime, to submit your video upload the video to your Dropbox account then send us the link using the form below. Your video submission will be uploaded to our Youtube channel.
