Wondering if you can wear a cropped turtleneck sweater in Spring?
It’s April! Depending on where you’re located it might still be a little chillier than you would expect it to be in April. But chill or not, it’s spring! Spring is not exactly summer. Especially when it’s the beginning of the season, the weather can sometimes still be chilly. So wearing a cropped turtleneck in spring probably won’t raise too many eyebrows. Sweaters are still possible to wear in Spring. Of course, on warmer spring days a cropped turtleneck sweater might be pushing it a little bit, unless it is lightweight and more of a mock turtleneck.
Revisiting the tobacco cropped turtleneck sweater…
Today I took a break from working on my album to take some pictures. My outfit of choice has been seen before. The tobacco cropped turtleneck sweater and the tan-toffee sweater skirt that I purchased on sale via nordstromrack.com in February.

I’ve been meaning to do a post for this outfit for a little while, but I’ve been busy working at getting my songs produced. However, today I was forced to take a break, so I figured I’d setup in my bedroom and take a few pictures. The background you see in the included pics is not my bedroom. It’s a stock image that I’m using to make the pictures look a little bit more interesting than with the plain white background against which they were taken.

This cropped turtleneck sweater is pretty lightweight. And the sweater skirt is also lightweight. So I could see wearing this outfit or a similar outfit in the earlier weeks of spring, when the temperature is in the low 60s. It’s not an outfit that screams spring, but it would definitely work on a day like today with the temperature at 55 degrees. And you would still need a jacket.
