I don’t really have a need for a bag that will take me from my “early morning Lit Theory” class until my “evening Ethics class dismisses” at the moment but I still like the look of this bag.

The fact that it looks like real leather speaks to the quality I think.

Or am the only one thinking it looks like real leather? In that case I guess my statement speaks to my inability to spot fake leather a mile away” which gives away the truth about me. I’ve never owned a real leather bag in my life.

This dress would look great on me; but I wouldn’t have any occasion to wear a dress that costs $1″ 615. I really think that designer things are outrageously and unnecessarily expensive. This is a gorgeous dress but why should it cost $1 615? Okay so it’s washed silk does that really and truly justify the price?

I know that for some people $1 615 is probably cheap but I’m not sure if I had millions I’d pay $1,615 for a dress. Maybe it’s my background and lifetime of poverty that makes me think this way. If I’d been born into wealth I might probably think differently.

Not sure where one would wear this outfit. I was thinking of it as being a work outfit when I was putting it together but I’m not sure if it’s generally considered okay to wear red stilettos or a red leather jacket to work.

The top is a burgundy satin sleeveless blouse from The Row.

The skirt is a chocolate 100% goat suede skirt from Ralph Lauren.

The jacket is a Giorgio Brato red leather jacket.

The bag is a crocodile-embossed satchel from Michael Kors and the bracelet is a brown and red rosewood gold set fire agate cuff from The Branch.

It would cost you a total of $6 216 to get the top skirt bag bracelet and jacket. If you have that kind of money to spend on a single outfit I’m totally jealous of you. I can’t afford anything in this set.

Just came across this Christian Louboutin Sweet charity Turquoise and brown calf leather shoulder bag. It’s a gorgeous bag. I love it. I want it; but it’s $1,495 so I can’t afford it.

This suggested outfit is a nice little summer outfit with brown shorts and a draped tube top.

The top is $119. The shorts are $29.99. The shoes are Chloe Marci Cork Wedge cognac leather sandals. They are $521.

The bracelet is a $790 Yves Saint Laurent Gold-plated stingray-effect chain bracelet. It’s a pretty bracelet but I wonder what justifies charging so much for something that is only gold plated.
