After you look at enough thousand dollar handbags you start to think that handbags are supposed to cost at least a thousand dollars to be worth buying.

This is one of the more expensive modcloth handbags I’ve seen. It’s $119 still not affordable for me but when compared to the $3 400 price tag on the  Bottega Venata Cervo Fire Orange Leather Woven Satchel I mentioned wanting earlier it’s pretty darn cheap.

Yeah well you can’t always get what you want right? This bag costs $3 400. But it was the first one that jumped out when I was looking at a page of handbags. It made me pause to look and it made me check it out. That’s how attraction works right? You’re not supposed to have any say in the matter. The attracting element is supposed to be in control pulling you into it without you working your mind to make yourself more magnetizable.

I’ve just discovered Reed Krakoff handbags. Gorgeous bags. Want pretty much all of them. This one is $1″ 440. I’ve always said that even if I had the money to afford thousand dollar designer handbags I wouldn’t spend that kind of money on a bag but I don’t know. It’s not that often I see handbags that evoke a “want it” response. Here’s the bag by itself.

I also love the dress in this set. It would be great to have in the kind of weather we’ve been experiencing so far in May. Would wear it with some nice flat sandals for my trip to the store later.

It’s a $357 Miu Miu Cotton-jersey and silk crepe de chine dress. The cotton part of the dress is 100% cotton and the silk part of the dress is 100% silk. The only thing I don’t love is that it would need to be dry cleaned but I guess if the day comes when I can afford a $357 dress trips to the dry cleaners won’t require riding two buses.

Unfortunately you can’t buy this dress online. Not that it matters to me because the dress is too expensive for my budget.

It’s not a bad price generally. It looks great and is probably worth the price but $290 is good for 18 dresses in my world.

I’m so poor that I was checking out the everything for $5.99 website the other day and put a couple of things in a shopping cart but couldn’t bring myself to pay for them because I knew it would be spending money I didn’t have.

I should be ashamed right? But I’m not. I mean. Life is what life is and these days I’m dead broke” but I’m not hopeless yet.
