Should I be embarrassed to want something from Newport News? I guess Newport News is like Payless where people don’t announce they shop there because it’s supposed to be embarrassing or something? But I’ve shopped at Newport News more than a few times. In fact the last time I spent money on clothes I spent $120 on merchandise from Newport News. I got 2 leather jackets” two skirts and a dress. $500 worth of clothes for $120. It was their Black Friday sale.

How gorgeous is the model’s skin?

I probably won’t be going any where near the beach this summer. Last summer I actually managed to get 2 vacations out of the summer. I didn’t have to pay for either except for food. I went to the beach both times. These are only $40 but I can’t afford them. I don’t think I’ve ever spent $40 on bracelets. Any bracelets I have that cost more were gifts. I’ve never had the kind of money that makes buying $40 bracelets possible. For $40 I usually try to get at least 3 items of clothing so you can guess where I typically shop.

Yeah I’m pitifully embarrassingly poor but who knows maybe that will change before I’m eighty. I think eighty is about the age women stop caring about fashion right?

Bebe Megan Metallic Straw Heart Lock Tote Deep green onesize

Just to have for a nice summer day when I’m wearing an outfit that the tote goes perfectly with. The tote comes in deep green and capri breeze. I prefer the deep green.

I can see carrying this tote while wearing a nice long” flowing vintage inspired white cotton or silk dress that flares romantically at the skirt and has long loose sleeves and crochet or embroidery details.

This is a seasonable bag.

Ok the outfit I’ve put together around these Jessica Simpson Sandals isn’t all that hot. I love the shoes though; and the Rochas Hyena spotted calf hair skirt is nice but it costs $1,520 which is apparently a mark down from $3800. More power to those ladies who can afford these things.

The sandals are the Poll in nude by Jessica Simpson. They cost $89.99

The top is a wrap-over style mesh textured top from Phase Eight in a chocolate color.

The jacket is a Silver tuxedo jacket in black from Rag & Bone.

The dress in the set is cute but I don’t have the bosom to carry off something cut that low. The shoes I do like and want but as you might guess it’s still out of budget. $803 dollars is still more than I can afford to spend on shoes. I don’t even think I’ve spent $803 in clothes in the past decade.

As for the who wore it better question I think both ladies look nice. Obviously most people are going to pick Amy Adams. I do like her choice of shoes better than Amanda de Cadenet’s.

I’m starting to think I like yellow dresses. So far yellow dresses dominate my  posts. Interestingly enough I don’t own a single yellow dress. This embroidered yellow silk blend sleeveless dress from Marni probably won’t be found hanging in my closet any time soon. $1″ 510 is a little more than I can afford to spend on a dress. Ok it’s a whole lot more than I can afford to spend on a dress. I think it would look really cute on me though and the sandals from Charles by Charles David would look great with it although I don’t know if I would be able to walk in 4 3/4 inch heels. I’m not sure about the clutch if a clutch would suit the outfit but it matched the shoe and I like it.

These shoes look so creamy and delicious. Yeah okay so creamy and delicious are bad choices to describe something you wear on your foot but the shoes look edible to me. I’m surprised the heels are 4 inches. They look like I could manage to walk in them and I can just barely manage to pull off 3-inch heels; but even if I would never wear them because I couldn’t walk in them if I could afford them I would definitely buy them.

Love the vibrant colors of this TOUCH Color block woven straw tote from Mango. Not sure if I’ll get to go on too many leisurely outings this summer what with my financial situation being what it is but would love to have this bag as an option for those occasions that would call for a straw tote.

Can see carrying this bag while wearing a nice breezy summer dress. Maybe something floral with hints of pink and coral similar to the colors of the bag; or maybe a flowy long white dress with a pink or orange belt and some espadrille wedge sandals or tan gladiator flat sandals.

These are black suede Rupert Sanderson Marquita Platform High Sandals. The cost $785 which is nothing for some women but way more money than I have ever spent at any one time on a shopping expedition.

I’m not sure the day will ever come when I’ll be able to afford to spend $785 on a single pair of shoes but if I could afford to spend $785 on a pair of shoes I’d add these to my collection. My present financial situation is such that I could not spend $100 on a single pair of shoes much less to spend $785.
