I am totally over all this snow. It is snowing right now in my town. The ground was already covered with snow that fell last week. Spring can’t come soon enough for me. Hopefully I won’t get too fat during this dreary winter season that by the time Spring comes around I’ll be dreading having to go out into public and wishing for Fall to arrive so I can cover up.
I’ve never really liked wool as a material. This Stella McCartney sweater is a wool-blend. It is composed of 59% Virgin wool 24% Mohair 15% Polyamide 2% Wool.
To be honest I have no idea what this blend of materials would feel like on the skin. I know my few encounters with wool have been itchy and uncomfortable. The wool material has felt rough and not particularly pleasing.
From what I’ve read the process of making wool these days has virtually eliminated the itching factor; but I wouldn’t know. I don’t have anything in my closet that is made of wool that I know of.
