Until today, I’d not done a turmeric face mask in a little while. Back when I did them more regularly I found turmeric masks to be very helpful in giving my skin a little jolt of rejuvenation and brightening. My skin can go through some spells of looking very dull and stressed. I would say insomnia is one of the main culprits. Sleep issues affect how you look on the outside both directly and indirectly. It affects the condition of your mind which affects how much concern you can afford to give to your appearance.  Another factor is my failure to drink an adequate amount of water every day. And then I don’t moisturize every day. So these things can affect my skin. Of late all I’ve misting throughout the day with my vitamin c vinegar and lemon juice mist. I won’t claim it’s going to do miracles for your skin, but it definitely brightens and rejuvenates my skin and makes it noticeably more vibrant even on mornings when I’ve only managed to get four hours of sleep. I keep it handy and just spritz throughout the day.

But today I decided to do a turmeric mask and it reminded I keep meaning to get this post finished and published once and for all. There’s nothing new I can tell you about turmeric that’s not already out there. Whether it really has any long term benefits in skin care is going to come down to individual experience. But in the short term, in my experience, it can make for a quick fix for dull skin. So without further delay, here are some turmeric face mask recipes for you to try.
