Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a world where people are not judged by their appearance? Then you could go out in public with all your pimples and dark spots and discolorations, moles, warts, fine lines and deep wrinkles, mustache shadow and what not, and no one will make you feel like you’re the ugliest thing that has ever walked the face of earth.

But we don’t like in a world where people are not judged by their appearance. And some of us aren’t born with the courage it takes to show our real imperfect face to the world without concern for what anyone might think of our looks.

Few women are so lucky to have so-called perfect skin. Some of us need a major make-over every day to look just reasonably okay. Others can just put on a little lip gloss and clear mascara and go. This minimal everyday makeup how-to is for those ladies who don’t require a major make-over before they can get to at least a 5 on the beauty scale.

Prep your face with a BB cream

BB creams (beauty balms) are the new “it” product in beauty. Or so it seems. They are used to “streamline your beauty routine” according to WebMD.

This versatile skin care/makeup hybrid promises to do the job of five or six other jars and tubes: moisturizer, primer, sunscreen, skin treatment, concealer, and foundation. “The idea of a well-formulated BB cream is that it’s the only product you’ll need after you wash your face,” says Ni’Kita Wilson, a cosmetic chemist at Englewood Lab in New Jersey… Via webmd

Fill in your brows

Using your preferred color of brow powder, an eye brow pencil or brow wax, fill in the gaps in your brows using a brow brush. Make short strokes for a natural look. You don’t want your eyebrows to be too accentuated.

3

Curl your lashes

After filling in your brows, curl your lashes with an eye lash curler to make your eyes look a bit more open.

4

Apply mascara

Apply some mascara both on your upper and lower lashes

5

Highlight brows

To brighten up the look a bit apply some highlighter under your eye brows to highlight your brown bones.

6

Highlight inner corner of eyes

Highlight the inner corners of your eyes to make your eyes look more open…

7

Apply some blush

Apply some blush on your cheekbones to put a little color in your cheeks…

8

Apply neutral lipstick and clear lip gloss

Apply some neutral lipstick then finish the look with some clear lip gloss.

And you’re ready to go…
