It is Tuesday morning. I am at the beginning of Day 2 of my 5 day fast. I feel like today is going to be a difficult day to get through as far as not eating; but if I make it through today and tomorrow the rest should be easy. I know I previously said that as long as I make it through day 1 the rest is easy and that’s usually true; but some times depending on where I am mentally it takes up to 3 days before my mind and body start working in sync.

I actually started writing this yesterday. Yesterday I was saying:

“I’ve had a fairly successful day as far as getting done all the things on my to-do list. I’ve not too long now finished taking my evening bath and I’m just relaxing for the next hour before I’ll call it a night.

I am flipping through Manhattan magazine’s December digital issue. Zoe Saldana is featured and she looks ridiculous as in unbelievably amazing.

Zoe is featured wearing a number of different outfits. She looks fantastic in everything.

Her list of outfits include a navy black cherry and white graphic jacquard merino wool sweater dress from Prabal Gurung a multicolor silk frange knitted embroidered dress a black and chalk kapow embroidered silk bomber jacket with a zigzag embroidered tulle skirt and zebra-print pony sandals a Proenza Schouler nude crepe-backed lace dress a turquoise floral jacquard top with matching floral jacquard mini skirt a white draped jumpsuit from Gucci.”

But then I got sleepy and went to bed. So now I will try to continue.

First” how sexy does Zoe Saldana look in this Prabal Gurung sweater dress? I hope I don’t get in trouble for using the picture. It’s the property of Modern Luxury magazine from their December 2013 Manhattan issue featuring Zoe Saldana. The image copyright is held by John Russo. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Zoe is a very lucky girl. She’s pretty smart talented and seemingly not particularly shallow. My favorite of her Manhattan magazine looks is the one above in the Prabal Gurung dress.

Speaking of Prabal Gurung dresses here are some I am thinking of buying.

I particularly love the look of the Prabal Gurung Drop Waisted Crinoline Cocktail Dress. Of course my basically agoraphobic lifestyle means I will probably buy the dress only to have it in my closet as an option in the rare event I go anywhere. I still haven’t managed to get out of the house yet. I think Janice is giving up on me because she hasn’t called since Saturday. I know I can pick up the phone and call her but I’m really not in the mood to be preached to about how I need to get out of my funk and get out of the house and get some air and all that stuff. Janice means well but she has no clue. She thinks that just because Kenny and I weren’t married yet and we were having problems and there was a possibility we would have called off the wedding and Jessica and Nathan weren’t my real children that it should not have been so hard for me to recover from losing them and I certainly shouldn’t still be grieving after two years. I guess most people would agree with her; but I can’t worry about what other people think or even what Janice thinks. Life doesn’t always follow the recipe.
