For some of us the Givenchy Antigona is still on the wish list waiting for us to save up that last five hundred dollars, or to save up the first twenty-five; but for other lucky ladies such as Italy’s lovely Valentina aka Vale from the blog fashionandcookies.com, the Givenchy Antigona is already in the closet on the designer handbag shelf. Via her blog Vale gives us a peak into her life, sharing photos of the outfits she wears for work and play.
Vale’s antigona makes an appearance in several of her outfit posts; and in her words: “All I can think about this bag is ‘why didn’t I get one before ?’. The more I use it, the more I like it and I sincerely have to stop myself from over wearing it, LOL ! (quote source)”. In the above look Vale’s antigona is her bag of choice to go with her outfit ( a beige turtleneck worn with blue jeans from Replay, black leather biker style ankle boots and a leopard print jacket).
So what’s in Vale’s black Givenchy Antigona Bag?
Used above to accessorize a pair of blue jeans from Zara worn with a Kenzo tiger print t-shirt and fuchsia Roberto Botticelli slip on sneakers, Vale’s antigona has that fully packed look that seems to be a function of the antigona’s structure. All the antigonas I’ve seen appear to have that packed look by default. But it does make you wonder what’s inside the bag; and Vale was kind enough to share with My Fashion Wants what she typically carries in her black Givenchy Antigona and other handbags.
my iPhone, my red Prada wallet, house keys, a small mirror, a purse with some make up essentials (pressed powder, a couple of lipsticks – one of them is always a red lipstick , mini mascara
and a blush) and a sample of my usual perfume (J’adore), tissues, a brush, my iPad mini, chargers for phone and tablet, a pair of sunglasses in their case
