I have just purchased a pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans via amazon.com.
A very dear friend of mine gave me $300 with which to purchase stuff for a planned photoshoot. I have decided I want to follow the lead of those fashion bloggers who model outfits for their websites because why not ? I used to want to be a model once upon a time. That was before I knew that you had to be super tall super thin and super pretty to be a model. I was super thin (not so much now); but I wasn’t super tall and I wasn’t super pretty so I didn’t get to become a model; but I like how things have changed to where us girls who don’t have what it takes to be “real” models can still model if we want no matter how short or how ugly or how not young any more we are. I don’t know if I’ll actually have the nerve to go through with my plan; but I have taken step one. I have purchased my first outfit.
Initially I had intended to buy as many things as I could for the $300 so I could model many different outfits; but after yesterday spending my entire day trying to find things worth buying and coming up empty” I decided it was a better idea all around to spend the money on a single outfit that I could actually wear after the shoot. So I spent most of today trying to find designer items on sale and I found this pair of 7 For All Mankind Womens Straight Leg Jeans on Amazon.
It remains to be seen what condition these jeans are in and if they’ll even fit me. The list price for the jeans is $205.00. I paid $60 for them. I assume that’s because they have some flaws in them. I hope it won’t be anything too heinous.
To go with the jeans I bought a 7 For All Mankind Women’s Colorblock Denim Shirt also via Amazon.com. I figure the denim on denim trend is still ongoing; and you can’t go wrong with a denim shirt right?

The shirt has a list price of $165; but I purchased it from Amazon for $56.99. I guess it’s because these are outdated items that never sold probably because of flaws but who cares? If they fit and they look nice that’s all that will matter to me. I should get these two items in a couple of days; but I have to wait until some time between September 30th and October 4th for the blazer and ankle boots which I purchased to complete the outfit.

I won’t have the Tory Burch bag. Didn’t have enough to purchase a new bag so I will be using my old beat up black faux leather bag that I purchased on sale from the now defunct newportnews.com website a few years back for $40
Once I have received all the items from amazon.com and hm.com I will attempt to do my first photoshoot for the site showing how this outfit works in real life.
