Back when I was a teenager in New York I was once going up the stairs exiting a subway station in Jamaica Queens on my way to visit a friend after school. There was a girl climbing up the stairs in front of me wearing a skirt that was so short that you could see everything underneath it. I was also at that time in the habit of wearing super short skirts. I think mini skirts were in fashion and some girls myself included tended to go a little far over the line with the length of our skirts; but we didn’t always know it. I shudder to recall how short my skirts were. And I had a habit of not wearing panties on top of it so you can imagine how I was going around flashing people as I climbed up subway stairs or bent over even slightly.
These days it seems as if there’s no concern over potentially baring your bottom to the world by wearing a too short skirt or too short shorts or too short dress. As a matter of fact it appears as if flashing your butt is a goal for some ladies. I immediately think of Miley Cyrus and the super short shorts she favors and Lady Gaga and her see-through outfits under which she wears thongs. Modesty is rudely mocked in Hollywood it seems. There’s an in your face attitude when it comes to wearing short clothes these days. Even top designers are releasing things that are supposed to be shorts that look more like panties.
So when a celebrity is photographed with her butt cheeks on display it hardly raises an eyebrow; but even while Hollywood folks don’t seem to care about such things as people being able to see up under their clothes the rest of us still have to be mindful of knowing when a dress is too short. We aren’t able to get away with the same things that girls like Tallulah Willis are able to get away with. You can bet if that was you walking down your street wearing a dress so short that the slightest breeze exposes your butt cheeks your neighbors weren’t going to turn a blind eye and act as if it’s perfectly normal to see a woman’s butt exposed as she’s just walking down the street.
About Tallulah’s butt flashing
The decision to wear a floaty but extremely short shirt dress dressed backfired somewhat for Tallulah Willis on Monday.
The 19-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis exposed a little more flesh than intended as she took a stroll through the Los Angeles sunshine.
A gust of wind gave passers by a glimpse of Tallulah’s pert posterior after she shared lunch with her boyfriend Lucas Vercetti. ( Read More ),
