This dress is a lovely deep purple floral lace dress from Dolce & Gabbana famously seen on Kate Middleton back in October 2015.

You might see it called eggplant in color or viola medio in color, or violet in color. It has a brownish-purple burgundy-ish look to it. Some might even call it a rustic bordeaux wine. Of course in person the hue might not look as it does on the screen; and on the screen the color can vary from screen to screen.

You probably won’t want to overwhelm this dress with a lot of accessories. The dress is already a statement piece with the allover floral lace design.
