Saw this MARC JACOBS Striped sweater on stylebop.com and instantly fell in love. Didn’tlove the $509 price tag necessarily but did love the bright colorful stripes and the style of the sweater. Must admit, didn’t notice the distressed aspects at first. It’s a gorgeous sweater but personally could do without the distressed look. Kind of hard to get the mind to see it as “high style” instead of “your sweater is old and it’s time to throw it out.”
Stylebop.com describes the sweater as having “fun colors, distressed rips and thick stripes” which combine to make it “a youthful but indulgent pick”.

It’s an interesting combination, the printed silk blouse with it’s pussy-bow tie under the striped sweater with it’s attached tie. If you had both of these items in your closet do you think it would have ever occurred to you to wear them together? The skirt is also from Marc Jacobs. It’s a black velvet a-line skirt adorned with a bow. Lots of extra adornments to this look. The shoes are MAISON MARGIELA toweringly high leather platform loafers and the bag is a Smythson dusk grey calf leather mini crossbody bag. The look is cute for sure.
