Came across this polka dot tulle skirt dress from MARC by MARC Jacobs and thought it was interesting enough to warrant a “Would you wear it?” write up.

Different always stands out. Sometimes that’s not necessarily a good thing as some of us can tell you from personal life experience.

Most people want to fit in, so they gravitate towards the thing that will make them fit in rather than towards the thing that will make them stand out. But sometimes different is what separates you from the crowd and takes you to higher places.

A two-sided polka dot tulle skirt dress certainly qualifies as different…

These days people have more courage when it comes to fashion. Sometimes “different” goes a little over the top. But for the most part different is what makes style interesting.

This dress is so different that it’s a challenge to describe. On one side it’s got a t-shirt dress style going on. On the other side there’s a bit of crazy happening; but it’s a good crazy. It’s like you’re wearing a layered polka dot tulle skirt with an intriguing t-shirt style top.

So would you wear this polka dot  tulle skirt dress?

From – An eclectic statement piece, this dress from Marc by Marc Jacobs is a bold choice. Styled with a t-shirt inspired print top, the skirt is divided into two styles, with one half dotted with blurred black spots and trimmed with multicolored tulle and the other a crisp, understated texture in bright white

Printed grey top, round neckline, capped sleeves, tonal tab, printed skirt with yellow and black tulle, white contrast fabric on skirt and top, asymmetric hem

You’ll definitely stand out from the crowd in this MARC BY MARC JACOBS polka dot tulle skirt dress . And maybe you might get a few frowns. After all it’s not immediately clear exactly what’s happening. Some people might take a minute to figure out it’s a whole dress that you’re wearing and not three individual pieces.

This dress comes with a $778 price tag. It’s being worn with Marc Jacobs fringed leather sneakers ($495) and an OLYMPIA LE-TAN Embroidered Chalk Box Shoulder Bag ($1,065.00)
