Ciara is representing the Roberto Cavalli label in an ad campaign shot by photographer Francesco Carrozzini for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection.
Pictures from the Ciara Roberto Cavalli collaboration have been circulating around the Internet.
The pictures were shot in a room with grungy blue walls and sand covered floors.
In this first pic Ciara wears a pretty serious expression as she poses perched on a chair. She’s wearing an ornate black blouse with yellow gold floral print paired with black trousers, she sits holding the handle of a black textured leather bag, giving the camera a no-nonsense look.
The Cavalli folks are quoted as saying in their statement about the Ciara Roberto Cavalli collaboration that Ciara embodies “embodies beauty with a hint of wildness.”
In this next look Ciara wears a floor length short sleeved Cavalli dress and poses leaning against the grungy blue wall.
According to the Cavalli press release, the blue walls are supposed to bring to mind a magical sky.
We have to admit, we don’t get a “magical sky” sense from the walls. But that is how the design house explained the campaign pics:
“The story of a world encapsulated in one room. A surreal kingdom where the walls look like a magical sky and surfaces enchant with desert volumes and earthy hues. …Shots that capture the seductive energy of a woman ready to build her very own kingdom beyond mere dreams, taking the beauty to the throne of personality.”
Ciara does look gorgeous though.
