I didn’t watch the live stream of the Nicole Miller presentation yesterday. I was watching US Open tennis. I’m a little bit more sports oriented in reality than I am fashion oriented.
The Nicole Miller collection looks like contained some interesting pieces for Spring/Summer 2015. Interesting prints, black and white stripes, black and white floral print–lots of mixed prints. I particularly liked the black and white stripe items such as the sleeveless black and white striped top, the black and white striped cropped jacket, and the black and white striped pencil skirt and the black and white striped short sleeved sweater.
I guess the whole print mixing experiment will be continuing into next spring and summer. The outfits worn by the models were pretty interesting demonstrations of print mixing. The outfits included a black and white horizontal stripes short sleeved sweater worn with a black and palm trees print skirt; a short, flirty black and white ruffled hem palm tree print skirt work with a green print cropped sweater with black and white horizontal stripes long sleeves.
If I had a life that wasn’t spent behind a computer screen I could see myself wearing some of the items from the Nicole Miller Spring Summer 2015 collection. I would of course also need to have the money to be able to afford to wear anything from the Nicole Miller brand. But I don’t have a social life so clothes like that would be pointless to buy. I need jeans and t-shirts and jackets and practical stuff you can wear on your regular errands to mundane places like the grocery store. Or maybe I could get a life right? Start going places that require me to wear something nice for a change.
