These days it is almost as common to find girls aspiring to become top fashion bloggers as to find girls aspiring to become top fashion models. A successful fashion blog can open doors that might otherwise remain barred shut to all but those girls who have the specific attributes that the people behind the closed door are looking for.

It makes sense if you’re trying to become a top fashion blogger that you would pay attention to what the top fashion bloggers are doing and try to do the same thing in the hope of getting the same results.
Taking inspiration and tips from successful people is perfectly okay and probably even smart. But the thing that makes top fashion bloggers stand out from the crowd is having their own unique way. Even if they might be wearing the same dress as another top fashion blogger, they still have their own unique style and their own unique way of representing their look. And it’s their unique qualities that make them and their blog stand out from the crowd.
Be the one being imitated and not the one doing the imitating
It’s tempting to want to imitate bloggers like Sonia Esman; but how can you? What these bloggers have is an essence that is entirely theirs. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The thing is, if you want to become a top fashion blogger, you want to be the one being imitated and not the one doing the imitating. You might be able to get far enough copying another blogger but you probably will not get as far as the blogger that you are copying because an imitation can never be a duplicate of the real thing. An imitation is always going to be less.
Instead of trying to imitate someone else, bring something to the table that no one else can bring. Bring you. There’s only one authentic you and as we said in Tip #1, you have to be authentic if you want to succeed as fashion blogger.
