Summer is pretty much over but some of you probably have at least a few more beach days to enjoy before you put away the bikinis until next season. Personally I have not been to the beach since 2012 when I last lived in Florida. And to be honest I’ve never been a bikini kind of girl. I was probably twelve the last time I walked around on the beach without shorts or some such thing to cover me up and I’ve always had a nice enough figure. Some girls are just shy and self conscious and no matter how nice their figure they are embarrassed to wear bathing suits in public. Then there are those girls who would never be caught on the beach wearing anything but a piece of string.
Last summer beach days bikini shopping
Multicolour snakeskin print bikini from Agua Bendita featuring top with a halterneck and a back tie fastening. The bottoms feature a low rise and side tie fastenings.
Ever wonder why it’s necessary to sell bikini tops and bottoms separately? It seems so pointless to me; but I guess sometimes people like to mix and match a top from one set with a bottom from a different set.
ELIZABETH HURLEY BEACH ‘Tiger’ printed bikini
Multi-colour ‘Tiger’ printed bikini from Elizabeth Hurley Beach featuring a triangle top, a rear clip fastening, a brief style bottom and multiple tie fastenings. This item is true to fit.
EMILIO PUCCI geometric printed bikini
Turquoise, yellow and black geometric printed bikini from Emilio Pucci featuring a triangle top, a halterneck tie fastening and high cut bottoms with tie fastenings.
I love the beach. It’s probably my favorite place to be; but I love it most when there isn’t a crowd of people. I love the ocean. I love the sound of the waves. I love to walk along the sand and collect shells.
The beach brings out the little girl in me. I don’t care for the sexy aspect where it’s all about girls in thong bikinis and guys sitting around watching them. For me the beach is about connecting with nature, being childlike and free, running barefoot in the sand, turning cartwheels, being silly, feeling the purest kind of joy.
