I don’t own these boots so I don’t know if they are the best boots ever. But I came across them on Amazon while looking for combat boots and I read through some of the customer reviews. The boots appear to have pretty good ratings; but this is based on a pretty modest number of customer reviews. They mostly have collected 5 stars out of 5 and 4 stars out of 5 ratings with the lowest number of stars at 3.

Summary of Reviews

Attractive, amazing, comfortable, awesome–these are some of the words that appear in custom reviews for the FRYE Veronica Combat Boots. One customer wrote “These boots are pricey but beautifully crafted. I ordered the distressed brown leather and the leather is durable but softened so that they provide a bit of a broken in feel” (Review via amazon.com). Most of the customers seem to share the opinion that the boots run a little small so keep that in mind should you decide to grab yourself a pair or two.

“Super comfortable, awesome fit, high quality leather, well made, my new favorite shoe. Would definitely by more FRYE boots and shoes.” By 808mom (Honolulu, HI) via amazon.com Read more reviews on amazon.com

The Frye Company is the oldest continuously operated shoe company in the United States. Founded in 1863 by John A. Frye, a well-to-do shoemaker from England, and family-run until 1945, Frye products have a long and illustrious history. Frye boots were worn by soldiers on both sides of America’s Civil War, soldiers in the Spanish-American war, and by Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders. When home-steading drew adventurous New England families to the West during the mid and late 1800’s many of the pioneers wore Frye Boots for the long journey. Today Frye remains true to its roots with its line of heritage boots, but continues to innovate as it introduces chic new handbags, pumps, and sandals to its collection. via amazon.com
